LocalToledo may request access to your device's location to provide location-aware features such as "Near You" discovery, local event recommendations, and neighborhood filtering.

Location access is entirely optional. You can grant or revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings or within the app's Preferences screen. We do not continuously track your location in the background.

If you grant location access, your general location may be stored in your user profile to improve personalized recommendations. We do not share precise location data with third parties.

Push Notifications

With your permission, LocalToledo may send you push notifications about new deals, upcoming events, community updates, and business activity relevant to your interests.

You can manage or disable push notifications at any time through the Preferences section in your Profile, or through your device's notification settings.

The platform integrates with third-party services to deliver certain features. These may include:

  • Stripe for payment processing — Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled;
  • Analytics providers for usage tracking and performance monitoring;
  • Mapping and location services for geographic features.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law or to fulfill legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention or dispute resolution.

Deal claim records and transaction history may be retained for longer periods for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data;

LocalToledo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.
